    Montgomery County firefighters lent a hand to police from Prince George's County Monday by helping detain a robbery suspect at a grocery store in Chillum while doing their Thanksgiving shopping.     Police in Montgomery County say a man was struck by a truck and killed while riding his bicycle near the intersection of Darnestown Road and Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg Monday morning. A Ford F550 truck operated by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission was apparently driving west on Darnestown Road and turned left into a shopping center on a green signal at about 9:45 a.m. The bicyclist was riding east on Darnestown Road and was struck by the truck at the entrance to the shopping center, located in the 12100 block of Darnestown Road, according to police.
